Workshop Description:
Getting it Down and Making it Better
This four- hour workshop, (10 am - 2 pm), provides NSSAL Program instructors and coordinators with strategies to assist ALP students to improve their writing skills by:
- incorporating the six traits of writing into ALP instruction
- using rubrics to assess
- using rubrics to plan for instruction
- using Word Q word prediction software
